Jordan Taylor Bunch
I grew up with a big family in south Dallas. People always said, "Wow! That's a bunch of Bunches!" Clever I know...
After I graduated high school, I moved to Abilene to pursue my Bachelors degree from Abilene Christian University. Then I married my beautiful wife Sara. Upon graduation, we decided to stay in Abilene to pursue Graduate degrees from ACU. During this time I started further developing my passion for photography by starting a small business on this side of my school work and full-time job as a Residence Hall Director. That's right, my wife and I live with two-hundred 18-20 year old boys!
Here's the short and sweet version of how this got started... I've always loved taking photos for friends, but after a while they kept saying "these are too good to give away!" One of these couples ended up hiring me to shoot their wedding. And that's where it all began!
I have developed a passion for photography that shows in my work. I believe it is important to always take the place of the learner. This has a direct effect on my photography. I am still learning daily about capturing the beautiful work of God on camera. Whether its attending photography workshops, reading the master's blogs, taking online courses or just going outside to make art, I am always learning more.
